(English below) Dal 17 al 20 aprile 2023 si è tenuto presso l’Università di Coimbra il Mid-Term meeting del progetto RI4C2 – Research & Innovation For Cities & Citizens, iniziativa che si inserisce nelle attività dell’Alleanza Europea EC2U di cui l’Università di Pavia fa parte.
Il progetto, gestito in Ateneo dal Servizio Ricerca e Terza Missione e dal Centro GLOBEC e finanziato nell’ambito dell’azione Horizon 2020 “Science with & for Society” (SwafS), ha l’obiettivo di sviluppare una serie di strategie e strumenti condivisi per il rafforzamento delle attività comuni dell’alleanza EC2U nei settori della ricerca e dell’innovazione attraverso un’ampia serie di iniziative.
Gli ambiti di azione di RI4C2 spaziano infatti dalla promozione di un’agenda comune per la ricerca e l’innovazione all’interno delle 7 università partner al potenziamento delle attività di Citizen Science e Open Science, dallo sviluppo di strumenti per la condivisione di risorse e infrastrutture all’implementazione di buone pratiche sul rafforzamento delle risorse umane e su gender balance.
Al meeting, che ha avuto l’obiettivo di condividere all’interno e all’esterno della partnership le attività fino ad ora realizzate e quelle in programma per i prossimi mesi, hanno partecipato in rappresentanza di Unipv la prof.ssa Daniela Ovadia, leader del Work Package 4 assegnato ad Unipv, e Gaia Garancini, Local coordinator del progetto.

UNIPV TAKES PART IN THE MID-TERM MEETING OF THE RI4C2 PROJECT
The University of Coimbra hosted from the 17th to the 20th of April the Mid-Term Meeting of the RI4C2 – Research & Innovation For Cities & Citizens project, an initiative related to the participation of the University of Pavia in the EC2U Alliance.
The RI4C2 project, which is managed jointly by the Research and Third Mission Unit and the GLOBEC center and was funded under Horizon 2020 “Science with & for Society” (SwafS) action, aims to develop strategies and tools to strengthen shared activities in the field of research and innovation within the EC2U alliance by means of a wide variety of activities.
The expected results range from developing a common research and innovation agenda to promoting Citizen Science and Open Science, from sharing research infrastructures and resources to strengthening human capitaland gender balance.
The meeting’s main aim was to share within and outside the partnership the activities carried out so far and the ones which will be completed by the end of the project. Unipv took part in the event with the participation of Professor Daniela Ovadia, leader of the Work Package 4 of the project which is assigned to Unipv, and Gaia Garancini, Local coordinator of the project.
