(English below) L’Università Alexandru Ioan Cuza di Iași, Romania, partner di EC2U, organizza la sesta edizione della JASSY Summer School – a Journey through life and hard sciences, economics, Social sciences and the tourism industrY – che avrà luogo tra il 10 e il 21 luglio 2023 a Iasi.
Gli studenti avranno l’opportunità di acquisire crediti iscrivendosi a uno dei sei moduli:
- Life Sciences in the race against emerging threats to human health
- Hard Sciences unveiled: an Interdisciplinary Tour
- Finance and Risk Management
- Strategic Human Resource Management
- Eastern European Perspectives
- Tourism at the Eastern Border of the EU. Interdisciplinary Training for Tour Guides
Potranno inoltre prendere parte ad attività, tra cui kayak, birdwatching, degustazione di vini, visite guidate della città e delle regioni culturali che circondano Iasi.
12 borse di studio (due per ciascun modulo JASSY) sono disponibili per gli studenti delle università partner di EC2U.
Tutti i potenziali candidati sono invitati a inviare un curriculum e una lettera di motivazione a jassy@uaic.ro entro il 30 aprile.
Gli studenti che risulteranno selezionati per i 12 posti beneficeranno della partecipazione gratuita e dell’alloggio nel campus in camere condivise (doppie), oltre a colazione e pranzo durante i giorni feriali (dal lunedì al venerdì inclusi), per entrambe le settimane, al ristorante universitario.
I risultati finali saranno disponibili all’inizio di maggio.

The Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași, Romania, partner of EC2U, organizes the 6th edition of the JASSY Summer School – a Journey through life and hArd sciences, economicS, Social sciences and the tourism industrY – between 10 and 21 July 2023 in Iasi.
Students will have the opportunity to acquire credits by signing up for one of the six modules:
- Life Sciences in the race against emerging threats to human health
- Hard Sciences unveiled: an Interdisciplinary Tour
- Finance and Risk Management
- Strategic Human Resource Management
- Eastern European Perspectives
- Tourism at the Eastern Border of the EU. Interdisciplinary Training for Tour Guides
They will also take part in a wide range of activities such as kayaking, birdwatching, wine tasting, guided tours of the city and the cultural regions surrounding Iasi.
12 scholarships (two per each JASSY module) are available for students from EC2U member universities.
All potential candidates are invited to send a resume and motivation letter to jassy@uaic.ro by 30 April.
Students who will be selected for the 12 places will benefit from free-of-charge participation and on-campus accommodation in shared (double) rooms, as well as breakfast & lunch during the weekdays (from Monday through Friday included), for both weeks, at the university restaurant.
Final results will be available at the beginning of May.
