(English below) Nella giornata del 30 marzo, si è svolta la conferenza “Le università italiane e francesi nell’iniziativa delle Università Europee” presso l’Università di Torino. All’evento ha preso parte anche l’Università di Pavia, rappresentata dalla Prorettrice all’Internazionalizzazione – la Prof.ssa Antonella Forlino e da Alberto Forte, coordinatore dei Progetti Internazionali presso il Centro GLOBEC.
La conferenza si è concentrata sulla collaborazione scientifica di lunga durata dell’Università Franco-Italiana/Italo-Francese (UFI/UIF) e il suo ruolo all’interno delle «Università Europee» Erasmus+, un’iniziativa rivolta alla creazione di alleanze transnazionali di Istituti di Istruzione Superiore europei e alla promozione di una cooperazione strutturale e strategica a lungo termine.
Unipv ha partecipato all’evento in qualità di partner dell’Alleanza EC2U, un’alleanza europea multiculturale e multidisciplinare composta da sette università, con l’obiettivo di sviluppare un ambiente innovativo che permetta il libero scambio di idee e l’inter-mobilità tra i propri studenti, docenti e personale all’interno delle università partecipanti e delle municipalità partner.

L’evento ha incluso due sessioni plenarie e quattro workshop tematici su Didattica, Mobilità, R&I e il Coinvolgimento degli studenti.
Durante la conferenza, la Prof.ssa Antonella Forlino ha partecipato al Workshop 3 – R&I presentando i risultati fino ad ora raggiunti da EC2U in ambito di ricerca e innovazione, in particolare la costituzione di tre Virtual Institutes #Good Health and Well Being, #Quality Education, #Sustainable Cities and Communities, l’organizzazione di eventi di successo quali Entrepreneurial Week e i Think Tank, oltre alla partecipazione al progetto Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation for Cities and Communities – RI4C2l.
L’iniziativa ha riunito università italiane, francesi ed europee con l’obiettivo di promuovere progetti esistenti, alleanze, iniziative riguardanti la mobilità, progetti di ricerca, progetti rivolti ai territori, metodi innovativi di insegnamento e forme di internazionalizzazione dell’insegnamento.

MARCH 30TH – UNIPV & EC2U IN TURIN FOR THE CONFERENCE ON ITALIAN AND FRENCH UNIVERSITIES WITHIN THE «EUROPEAN UNIVERSITIES» INITIATIVE
On the 30th of March, the conference on “Italian And French Universities In The European Universities Initiative” took place at the University of Turin. The University of Pavia participated in the event, represented by the Deputy Chancellor for Internationalisation – Prof. Antonella Forlino and Alberto Forte, International Projects coordinator at the GLOBEC Center.
The conference focused on the Franco-Italian University/Italo-French University (UFI/UIF) long-lasting scientific collaboration and its role within the Erasmus+ «European Universities», an initiative aimed at creating transnational alliances of European Higher Education Institutions and developing long-term structural and strategic cooperation.
UNIPV participated in the event as one of the partners of the EC2U Alliance, a multicultural and multidisciplinary European alliance consisting of seven universities, intending to develop an innovative environment that allows the free exchange of ideas and the inter-mobility of their students, teachers, and staff within the participating universities and partner cities.
The event included two plenary sessions and four thematic workshops on Didactics, Mobility, R&I, and the Students’ engagement.
During the conference, Prof. Antonella Forlino participated in Workshop 3 – R&I showing the results achieved by EC2U within the fields of research and innovation, in particular the development of the three Virtual Institutes #Good Health and Well Being, #Quality Education, #Sustainable Cities and Communities, the organisation of successful events such as the Entrepreneurial Week and the Think Tanks, as well as the participation in the Horizon 2020 project Research and Innovation for Cities and Communities- RI4C2l.
The initiative brought Italian, French, and European universities together to raise awareness about existing projects, alliances, initiatives in terms of mobility, research projects, projects aimed at territories, innovative teaching, and forms of internationalisation of teaching.
