L’Università di Pavia, rappresentata dal Prof. Antonio Morone (Dipartimento di Scienze Politiche e Sociali, coordinatore del progetto per il team di Unipv) ha partecipato ai lavori di chiusura del progetto Erasmus+ Capacity Building: ESAGOV.
Il progetto ESAGOV è volto a migliorare e rafforzare l’approccio di qualità alla governance nelle università algerine. L’Università di Pavia vi partecipa dal 15 gennaio 2019, con un coinvolgimento attivo, nei vari gruppi di lavoro, dei Dipartimenti di Scienze Politiche e Sociali e Scienze Economiche e Aziendali.
Una della più recenti attività del progetto, alla quale Pavia ha contribuito in modo sostanziale, è stata l’organizzazione di training intensivi, svoltisi tra l’8 e l’11 novembre 2022. In tale circostanza, i rappresentanti delle università algerine si sono ritrovati nell’ateneo di Cà Foscari per un’opportunità di formazione e scambio, dove lo staff veneziano e pavese ha tenuto diversi interventi su temi decisivi per rafforzare il processo di modernizzazione della governance del sistema universitario algerino e implementazione di piani strategici.
La conferenza finale è stata anche l’occasione per promuovere il coinvolgimento della nostra struttura nello sviluppo del progetto e nella progettazione della sua sostenibilità.
Importante è la prosecuzione della cooperazione tra Unipv e le università algerine, nata anche dal progetto ESAGOV stesso, grazie a cui Pavia ha depositato la candidatura ICM 2023, per un progetto di mobilità inteso soprattutto all’internazionalizzazione delle scienze umane e sociali, con le università algerine di:
- Kasdi Merbah University of Ouargla.
- Benyoucef Benkhedda University of Algier 1.
- Djillali Liabes University of Sidi Bel Abbes.
- Mohamed Lamine Debaghine University Setif 2.
- Mouloud Mammeri University of Tizi-Ouzou.

Final conference of the ESAGOV project
The University of Pavia, represented by Prof. Antonio Morone (Departments of Political and Social Sciences, and project coordinator for the UNIPV team) participated in the closing works of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building project: ESAGOV.
The ESAGOV project aims to improve and strengthen the quality approach to governance in Algerian universities. The University of Pavia has been participating since 15 January 2019, with the active involvement of the Departments of Political and Social Sciences and Economics and Business Sciences in the various working groups.
One of the most recent activities of the project, to which Pavia contributed substantially, was the organization of intensive training sessions, which took place between 8 and 11 November 2022. In this circumstance, representatives of Algerian universities met at the Cà Foscari university for an opportunity for training and exchange, where the staff of the Venetian and Pavia universities gave various speeches on decisive issues to strengthen the process of modernizing the governance of the Algerian university system through the implementation of strategic plans.
The final conference was also an opportunity to promote the involvement of our structure in the development of the project and in the planning of its sustainability.
The continuation of the cooperation between UNIPV and the Algerian universities is important, also born from the ESAGOV project itself, thanks to which Pavia filed the ICM 2023 candidacy, for a mobility project aimed above all at the internationalization of the human and social sciences, with the universities Algerians from:
- Kasdi Merbah University of Ouargla.
