(English below – Third national meeting of the AICS project “Partnership for Knowledge” Platform 2 scholarship holders) Il 18 e 19 giugno 2022 si è tenuto ad Aosta il terzo incontro annuale degli studenti della Piattaforma 2 del Progetto “Il Partenariato per la Conoscenza” (PfK – Partnership for Knowledge).
Il Progetto è un’iniziativa dell’Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo (AICS) che ha l’obiettivo di creare opportunità di alta formazione e di ricerca dedicate a giovani e, in parallelo, di fornire alla cCooperazione uno strumento per rafforzare il dialogo con il sistema universitario italiano.
L’Università di Pavia è capofila della Piattaforma 2 “Sanità e WASH” coordinata dal Prof. Gian Battista Parigi, Presidente del CICOPS, la Commissione interna al GLOBEC (Center for Global Strategic Engagement) che si occupa di cooperazione internazionale.
Durante i due giorni di incontro, a cui hanno partecipato con piacere anche 5 studenti della piattaforma 3 “Sustainable Energy, Environment and Industrial Innovation” coordinata dal Politecnico di Milano, gli studenti hanno potuto confrontarsi sul loro percorso accademico, sulla loro permanenza in Italia e in particolare su come intendono fare tesoro dell’esperienza con PFK per avere un impatto positivo sul loro paese di provenienza. L’incontro è stato anche una bellissima opportunità per conoscersi meglio e rafforzare la rete di alumni del Progetto PfK.

Third national meeting of the AICS project “Partnership for Knowledge” Platform 2 scholarship holders
On the 18th and 19th June “The Partnership for Knowledge” – Platform 2 – scholarship holders took part in the third annual meeting held in Aosta.
The Project is an initiative of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS), which aims to create opportunities for higher education and research dedicated to young people and, in parallel, to provide the Cooperation with a tool to strengthen dialogue with the Italian university system.
The University of Pavia is the coordinator of the Platform 2 “Health and WASH”, coordinated by Prof. Gian Battista Parigi, President of CICOPS, the Committee of the Center for Global Strategic Engagement (GLOBEC) for International Cooperation.
During the two days of meeting, in which 5 students from platform 3 “Sustainable Energy, Environment and Industrial Innovation”, coordinated by the Milan Polytechnic, also gladly participated, the students were able to discuss their academic career and their life in Italy, sharing their experiences and how they intend to benefit from their experience with PFK to have a positive impact on their home country. The meeting was also a great opportunity to get to know each other better and strengthen the PfK Project alumni network.
