(English below – UNIPV at the 7th edition of the CUCS Conference) Dal 21 al 23 aprile 2022 si è tenuto a Napoli il VII Convegno CUCS dal titolo “La Cooperazione Universitaria nelle Nuove Sfide per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile. Capacity-building, Science Diplomacy e Open Science nei rapporti tra Nord e Sud del mondo nel nuovo contesto globale”.Il convegno è stato organizzato dall’Università di Napoli Federico II insieme all’Università “L’Orientale” con la proposta di numerose sessioni parallele, sedute plenarie e tavole rotonde.
Il Prof. Gian Battista Parigi, presidente del CICOPS, la Commissione Internazionale Cooperazione per lo sviluppo interna al Centro GLOBEC (Center for Global Strategic Engagement), ha partecipato alle diverse tavole rotonde e ha presentato il suo contributo sul “Supporto della Cooperazione Accademica Italiana alla rinascita della Università Nazionale Somala (SNU) -Mogadiscio”. La dott.ssa Alena Poilova ha presentato i risultati del progetto “Miglioramento dell’insegnamento post-laurea per la cura dei bambini come modello per migliorare la formazione medica in Asia Centrale (ChildCA – progetto Erasmus+ CBHE gestito da GLOBEC e coordinato dal prof. Parigi).
Le sessioni, in linea con le tematiche del convegno, si sono rivolte a tutti gli attori della cooperazione allo sviluppo al fine di attrarre il più possibile interesse da una varietà di attori (pubblico, privato, non-profit, for profit, organismi internazionali, governativi, enti locali, ONG, ricerca scientifica) su temi, fenomeni, problematiche, innovazioni, anziché su singole discipline o aspetti troppo settoriali, che trovano spazio in altri convegni. Inoltre, le tavole rotonde hanno affrontato i temi riguardanti la valutazione dei progetti di cooperazione e i risultati del progetto PFK “Partnership for Knowledge” finanziato da AICS.

UNIPV at the 7th edition of the CUCS Conference
The VII Edition of the CUCS Conference entitled “University Cooperation in the New Challenges for Sustainable Development – Capacity building, Science Diplomacy and Open Science in the relationship between Global North and Global South in the new world context” was held in Naples from 21 to 23 April 2022.
Professor Gian Battista Parigi, President of CICOPS, the Commission for International Cooperation for Development of GLOBEC (Center for Global Strategic Engagement), presented his contribution to the “Italian Academic Cooperation Support to the Rebirth of the Somali National University (SNU) – Mogadishu” and Alena Poilova presented the results of the project “Improving Postgraduate Education for Child Care as a Model for Improving Medical Education in Central Asia (ChildCA – Erasmus+ CBHE project managed by GLOBEC and coordinated by prof. Parigi).
The Conference, born within the academic world, is addressed to all actors involved in international cooperation, with special attention to young people and students. The aim is to promote the construction of networks in which, thanks to mutual exchanges and the synthesis of experiences and concepts, it is possible to develop innovation and disseminate knowledge through the mechanisms and procedures of Open Science.
In addition, the round tables addressed the issues of evaluation of cooperation projects and the results of the PFK project “Partnership for Knowledge” funded by AICS.
