(English below) Mercoledì 15 dicembre 2021, dalle ore 11.00 – 13.00 (Dubai Time), presso Padiglione Italia, nell’ambito del Forum Expo 2020 Dubai, si terrà l’incontro “Il mondo dentro i nostri confini: I programmi internazionali nelle università italiane”.
Il Ministero dell’Università e della Ricerca (MUR) e la Conferenza dei Rettori delle Università Italiane (CRUI) organizzano un forum volto a presentare e promuovere il sistema universitario e di ricerca italiano e le sue eccellenze, evidenziando il ruolo che le università svolgono per accelerare la crescita economica e sociale.
Un focus particolare sarà posto sui corsi post-laurea tenuti in lingua inglese, con particolare riferimento ai temi dell’Expo Dubai.
L’università gioca un ruolo fondamentale per la crescita, la competitività e la capacità di preparare le società alle sfide future, soprattutto dopo le trasformazioni imposte dalla pandemia di Covid.
La spinta all’internazionalizzazione che ha investito ampiamente le università italiane negli ultimi tempi si riflette anche nel potenziamento dei corsi post-laurea erogati in lingua inglese e legati alle principali aree di ricerca universitaria: corsi post-laurea ad orientamento professionale, dottorati di ricerca, winter e summer school. Tale offerta formativa – insieme ai corsi di primo e secondo ciclo in inglese – è quella su cui le università stanno investendo per attrarre studenti e ricercatori internazionali ma che, molto spesso, è apprezzata anche dagli studenti italiani.
Verrà presentato un quadro di questa offerta formativa internazionale ricca e di qualità, con particolare attenzione alle otto aree di riferimento di Expo Dubai: Aerospazio, Agricoltura 4.0, Beni culturali, Cyber Security, Smart Energy, Internet delle cose, Mobilità sostenibile, Life science.
Il sistema di istruzione superiore italiano partecipa a Expo Dubai 2020 con oltre trenta università, partner del Padiglione italiano, che presentano le loro caratteristiche di eccellenza.
Il forum MUR-CRUI è rivolto alle autorità e alle istituzioni di istruzione superiore e di ricerca degli Emirati Arabi Uniti, oltre che ai rappresentanti delle università degli Emirati, e agli Addetti Scientifici e Culturali delle Ambasciate straniere negli Emirati.

Forum Expo 2020 Dubai. “The world within our borders: international programmes at Italian universities”
Italy Pavilion 15 dicembre 2021, ore 11.00 – 13.00 (Dubai Time)
The Italian Ministry for University and Research (MUR) and the Conference of Italian University Rectors (CRUI) organize a forum aimed at presenting and promoting the Italian university and research system and its excellences, highlighting the role that universities play in accelerating economic and social growth. Special focus will be set on post-graduate courses taught in English, with particular reference to the Expo Dubai’s topics.
The university plays a fundamental role for growth, competitiveness, and the ability to prepare societies for future challenges, especially after the transformations imposed by the Covid pandemic.
The drive towards internationalization that has widely affected Italian universities in recent times is also reflected in the enhancement of postgraduate courses delivered in English and linked to the main university research areas: post-graduate professionally-oriented courses, research doctorates, winter and summer schools. Such educational offer – together with first-cycle and second-cycle courses in English – is where universities are investing to attract international students and researchers but which, very often, is also appreciated by Italian students.
A picture of this rich and high-quality international training offer will be presented, with particular emphasis on the eight Expo Dubai reference areas: Aerospace, Agriculture 4.0, Cultural Heritage, Cyber Security, Smart Energy, Internet of things, Sustainable mobility, Life science.
The Italian higher Education system participates in Expo Dubai 2020 with more than thirty universities, partner of the Italian Pavillon, that are presenting their features of excellence.
The MUR-CRUI forum is aimed at higher education and research authorities and institutions of the United Arab Emirates, as well as representatives form UAE universities, and Scientific and Cultural Attachés form the foreign Embassies in the UAE.
