Con immenso piacere annunciamo che la cerimonia di consegna dei camici ospedalieri ai futuri tirocinanti del corso di medicina in inglese HARVEY si terrà il giorno venerdì 11 ottobre 2019, alle ore 15.00, nella grandiosa cornice dell’Aula Magna dell’Università di Pavia.
La cerimonia, ormai giunta alla sua terza edizione, è stata organizzata per la prima volta nell’ottobre 2017 su suggerimento degli stessi studenti del corso Harvey, sempre volenterosi e pronti a donare al corso un’atmosfera sempre più internazionale per mezzo di questa cerimonia, in voga soprattutto nelle università statunitensi e britanniche.
La White Coat Ceremony prevede la consegna dei camici ospedalieri ai futuri tirocinanti dal terzo anno in poi, consegnati dai docenti del corso.
Infine, la recita del Giuramento di Ippocrate, fondamento dell’etica clinica e professionale dei futuri medici, conclude la cerimonia.

With immense pleasure we announce that also this year the White Coat Ceremony will be held on Friday 11th October 2019, at 3 pm, at the Aula Magna, University Central, Corso Strada Nuova 65.
The ceremony, firstly suggested by some international students of the Harvey Course back in 2017, has now reached its 3rd edition and has conferred an aura of international atmosphere to the University of Pavia medical course as well.
This ceremony is very frequent mainly in US and UK universities for medical undergraduates.
The White Coat Ceremony consists in the delivery of the white coats to future student trainees from the third year onwards, and the coats are delivered by some lecturers of the Harvey Course.
At the end of the ceremony, lecturers and students alike recite together the Hippocrates’ Oath, the manifesto of medical ethics for future doctors.
