(English below) Si è svolta dal 21 al 25 maggio a Jena (Germania), presso l’università Friedrich Schiller, la sesta edizione dell’EC2U Forum, l’evento che ogni sei mesi riunisce tutta la community dell’Alleanza per conferenze, meeting, workshop, attività sociali e culturali.

Quest’anno il Forum si è svolto nel contesto della Healthy Week, una settimana di eventi focalizzati sul tema della salute, sotto lo slogan di “Community of Action”, organizzata dall’Università di Jena, e durante la quale si è tenuta anche la Healthy Campus Summer School, che ha offerto a studenti, dipendenti dell’Università e cittadini la possibilità di approfondire tematiche legate alla salute psicosociale e fisica.

Durante le sessioni del Forum,  i partecipanti sono stati chiamati a riflettere su temi riguardanti gli obiettivi di sviluppo sostenibile delle Nazioni Unite (UNSDGs), con particolare attenzione alla buona salute e al benessere (SDG3), all’istruzione di qualità (SDG4) e alle città e comunità sostenibili (SDG11).

Pavia ha partecipato all’EC2U Forum come di consueto con una corposa delegazione,  guidata dalla Pro-Rettrice all’Internazionalizzazione Prof.ssa Antonella Forlino e composta da docenti, studenti, personale amministrativo dell’Università coinvolti nei lavori dell’Alleanza, oltre a rappresentanti del Comune di Pavia e di  S.T.E.P. ESN Pavia, partners associati di EC2U.

Il Forum si è aperto con una serata di benvenuto presso lo storico Planetarium di Jena, con una speciale proiezione “stellare” dedicata all’Alleanza. L’Università di Jena ha inoltre dedicato un albero storico del  giardino botanico cittadino alla “Famiglia EC2U”.

La delegazione di Pavia è intervenuta in diverse occasioni durante gli eventi della Healthy Week. I rappresentanti del Comune, Maria Spitti (Responsabile Ufficio Europa) e il Consigliere Roberto Tilocca hanno partecipato come speakers alla tavola rotonda “Citizen Science: How digitalization showcases the cultural heritage of cities”.

All’interno del programma della Summer School per gli studenti, Giulia Falchi (GLOBEC) ha tenuto uno speech su “Inclusiveness of the University: opportunity and obstacles for migrants and refugees on having access to higher education”. Il Dottor David Bosoni (Medico Specializzando in Ginecologia e Ostetricia) è invece intervenuto su “Main determinants of wellbeing in young women in a gynecologica endocrinology perspective.” Anche Giacomo Vigezzi (ricercatore in Data Science in Biomedicine) ha tenuto uno speech, sul tema “Psychophysical well-being and lifestyles in Pavia Colleges: a case study of health prevention and promotion among University students”.

Durante la giornata di chiusura, sono stati presentati i risultati semestrali dell’ EC2U Think Thank, questa volta incentrato sulla tematica “Social Innovation in time of Crisis”. Sono intervenuti la Prof.ssa Gabriella Bottini (Delegata del Rettore per il Public Engagement), il Consigliere Roberto Tilocca (Comune di Pavia) e Martina Altea Bellinzona (GLOBEC).

Infine il team pavese leader del work package 3, coordinato dalla Prof.ssa Ilaria Poggiolini, ha presentato: EC2U Connect Center Made Easy, un “tour guidato” virtuale attraverso le componenti del Connect Center di EC2U, l’ambiente di co-working virtuale per docenti, studenti, personale ammnistrativo che diventerà il punto di accesso a dati e strutture e strumenti condivisi. Questi video che includono la guida alla nuova EC2U card,  sono stati realizzati con il supporto tecnico del Servizio Innovazione Didattica e Comunicazione Digitale di Unipv.

The sixth edition of the EC2U Forum,  the event that brings together the entire Alliance community every six months for conferences, meetings, workshops, social and cultural activities,  took place from 21 to 25 May in Jena (Germany), at the Friedrich Schiller University.

This year the Forum took place in the context of the Healthy Week, a week of events focused on the theme of health, under the slogan of “Community of Action”, organized by the University of Jena, and during which took place also the Healthy Campus Summer School, which offered students, University employees and citizens the opportunity to explore topics related to psychosocial and physical health.

During the sessions of the Forum, the participants were asked to reflect on issues concerning the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), with particular attention to good health and well-being (SDG3), quality education (SDG4) and to sustainable cities and communities (SDG11).

Pavia participated in the EC2U Forum as usual with a substantial delegation, led by the Pro-Rector for Internationalization Prof.ssa Antonella Forlino and made up of professors, students, administrative staff of the University involved in the work of the Alliance, as well as representatives of the Municipality of Pavia and  S.T.E.P. ESN Pavia, associated partners of EC2U.

The Forum opened with a welcome evening at the historic Jena Planetarium, with a special “stellar” projection dedicated to the Alliance. The University of Jena has also dedicated a historic tree in the city’s botanical garden to the “EC2U Family”.

The Pavia delegation intervened on several occasions during the Healthy Week events. The representatives of the Municipality, Maria Spitti (Head of the Europe Office) and the Councilor Roberto Tilocca participated as speakers in the round table “Citizen Science: How digitalization showcases the cultural heritage of cities”.

During the closing day, the half-yearly results of the EC2U Think Thank were presented, this time focusing on the theme “Social Innovation in time of Crisis”. Finally, the Pavian team leader of work package 3, coordinated by Prof. Ilaria Poggiolini, presented: EC2U Connect Center Made Easy a virtual “guided tour” through the components of the EC2U Connect Center, the virtual co-working environment for teachers, students, administrative staff who will become the point of access to data and shared structures and tools.
