(English below) L’Università di Pavia, partner dell’European Alliance for City-Universities, ha contribuito allo sviluppo di due grandi novità per il 2023: la ricandidatura di EC2U e la nascita di ED-Affiche!
Ricandidatura di EC2U
EC2U è stata ricandidata alla call European Universities di Erasmus+ e già lavora con sicuro ottimismo al futuro dell’Alleanza. Per il “secondo round” dell’Alleanza Europea, che durerà fino al 2027, sono stati non solo rinforzati i precedenti obiettivi, già raggiunti con successo (ad esempio i 3 Joint Master Degree e 3 Virtual Institute di ricerca ufficialmente attivi già dal 2022), ma si prevedono anche grandi novità.
Tra queste, l’estensione dell’Alleanza alla Johannes Kepler Universitat of Linz (Austria) e a nuovi partner associati tra i quali Fondazione IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo, Assolombarda, CUS Pavia e l’associazione studentesca AIESEC e il focus su un nuovo European Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), cioè #16 “Peace, Justice and strong institution”, (in aggiunta ai 3 precedentemente coinvolti, #3 “Good health and well-being”, #4 “Quality of Education”, #11 “Sustainable cities and communities”).

L’Università di Pavia ha inoltre preso parte al consorzio composto da 51 istituti di istruzione superiore di 22 Paesi dell’UE appartenenti a 6 Alleanze europee (Una Europa, 4EU+, EU-CONEXUS, EC2U, UNITE!, Charm-EU), con il supporto di 19 Ministeri nazionali e regionali tra I quali il Ministero dell’Università e ANVUR, che ha dato vita a ED-Affiche ““Advancing, Facilitating and Fostering International Collaboration in Higher Education”.
Il progetto, che è appena stato approvato e finanziato dalla Commissione Europea, ha l’obiettivo di formulare consigli per la progettazione e certificazione di Joint European Degree labels, contribuendo a un quadro più inclusivo, accessibile e trasparente nello sviluppo di programmi congiunti attraverso il dialogo tra le autorità (ministeri e agenzie di accreditamento).
Questa collaborazione senza precedenti tra le alleanze universitarie europee consentirà di compiere passi coraggiosi verso la realizzazione del potenziale di trasformazione degli European Joint Degree.

The University of Pavia, partner of the European Alliance for City-Universities, has contributed to the development of two great innovations for 2023: the re-nomination of EC2U and the creation of ED-Affiche!
RE-nomination of EC2U
EC2U has applied for the new Erasmus+ European Universities call and is already working with sure optimism on the future of the Alliance. For the “second round” of the European Alliance, which will last until 2027, not only have the previous objectives, already successfully achieved (for example the 3 Joint Master Degree and 3 Virtual Research Institutes officially active as early as 2022), been reinforced, but big news is also expected.

The University of Pavia also took part in the consortium made up of 51 higher education institutions from 22 EU countries belonging to 6 European Alliances (Una Europa, 4EU+, EU-CONEXUS, EC2U, UNITE!, Charm-EU), with the support of 19 national and regional Ministries, which gave birth to ED-Affiche “Advancing, Facilitating and Fostering International Collaboration in Higher Education”.
The project, which has just been approved and funded by the European Commission, aims to formulate recommendations for the design and certification of European Degree Labels contributing to a more inclusive, accessible and transparent framework in the development of joint programs through dialogue between authorities (ministries and accreditation agencies).
This unprecedented collaboration between European university alliances will enable bold steps towards realizing the transformative potential of the European Degree Labels.
