(English below) L’Università di Pavia ha partecipato ai lavori della 5^a edizione dell’EC2U Forum, svoltasi a Iasi, Romania, dal 10 al 13 ottobre 2022 presso la Alexandru Ioan Cuza University di Iasi.
L’EC2U Forum è un appuntamento semestrale durate il quale le sette università dell’Alleanza Europea European Campus of City-Universities – EC2U riflettono insieme ai partner (Comuni, Poli Tecnologici, Associazioni studentesche) sullo stato di avanzamento dell’Alleanza, proponendo allo stesso tempo nuove idee e linee di azione per il futuro nel campo della didattica, ricerca e terza missione. La scorsa edizione del Forum si è tenuta presso l’Università di Pavia nell’aprile di quest’anno.
La delegazione di Pavia ha profondamente riflesso lo spirito dell’Alleanza EC2U, assicurando la partecipazione popolosa (circa 20 rappresentanti) e ramificata di tutti gli attori coinvolti nel progetto.
Innanzitutto, l’Università di Pavia ha potuto contare sulla partecipazione della Prorettrice alle Relazioni Internazionali, la prof.ssa Antonella Forlino, nonché di docenti, dottorandi e staff impegnati nelle attività di progetto. Allo stesso modo, anche 6 studenti hanno preso parte ai lavori, potendo dare voce al punto di vista dei giovani su varie tematiche affrontate durante le giornate del Forum, il cui slogan era “Connecting communities and re-imagining mobility”.
Anche i partner associati del progetto, attivi nell’ecosistema pavese hanno avuto un ruolo partecipe e fondamentale durante le giornate e le attività del forum:
- Il Comune di Pavia, rappresentato dal Consigliere Roberto Tilocca e dalla dott.ssa Elisa Preti dell’Ufficio Europa, essenziale per rafforzare la sinergia tra Università e territorio,
- ESN (Erasmus Student Network), rappresentato, tra gli altri, dal presidente della sezione di Pavia Gianluca Cucurachi.
Numerosi sono stati gli interventi svolti dall’intera delegazione all’interno delle diverse sessioni del Forum: Higher Education Round Table, Virtual Institutes Joint Session, Plenary Council, Citizen Science, RI4C2 Session, Voice of Students, Mobility Fair.
Il valore del Forum è stato strategico, sia in senso di allineamento e aggiornamento rispetto alle attività svolte nei primi 18 mesi di progetto sia per programmare i punti chiave dell’application alla seconda fase del progetto, all’insegna dei Sustainable Development Goals delle Nazioni Unite.

The University of Pavia participated in the work of the 5th edition of the EC2U Forum, held in Iasi, Romania, from 10th to 13th October at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University in Iasi.
The EC2U Forum is a biannual event during which the seven universities of the European Alliance European Campus of City-Universities – EC2U reflect together with their partners (Municipalities, Technological Poles, Student Associations) on the progress of the Alliance, proposing to the same time new ideas and lines of action for the future in the field of teaching, research and third mission. The last edition of the Forum was held at the University of Pavia in April 2022.
The Pavia delegation deeply reflected the spirit of the EC2U Alliance, ensuring the populous (about 20 representatives) and branched participation of all the actors involved in the project.
First of all, the University of Pavia was able to count on the participation of the Vice Rector for International Relations, Prof. Antonella Forlino, as well as professors, PhD students and staff involved in the project activities. Similarly, 6 students also took part in the works, being able to give voice to the point of view of young people on various issues addressed during the days of the Forum, whose slogan was “Connecting communities and re-imagining mobility”.
The associated partners of the project, active in the Pavia ecosystem, also played an active and fundamental role during the days and activities of the forum:
– The Municipality of Pavia, represented by the Director Roberto Tilocca and Dr. Elisa Preti of the Europe Office, essential for strengthening the synergy between the University and the territory,
– ESN (Erasmus Student Network), represented, among others, by the president of the Pavia section Gianluca Cucurachi.
Numerous speeches were made by the entire delegation within the various sessions of the Forum: Higher Education Round Table, Virtual Institutes Joint Session, Plenary Council, Citizen Science, RI4C2 Session, Voice of Students, Mobility Fair.
The value of the Forum was strategic, both in terms of alignment and updating with respect to the activities carried out in the first 18 months of the project, and to program the key points of the application to the second phase of the project, under the banner of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.
