Da novembre 2020 l’Università di Pavia fa parte della nuova alleanza europea “European Campus for City Universities – EC2U” (sito). Si tratta di un’alleanza composta da sette atenei (Poitiers (Francia), Coimbra (Portogallo), Iasi (Romania), Turku (Finlandia), Jena (Germania) e Salamanca (Spagna) che punta a creare un grande campus europeo da 160mila studenti e quasi 2 milioni di cittadini comunitari.

EC2U proporrà nuovi percorsi formativi e di ricerca congiunti, con una nuova concezione di mobilità studentesca, per ripensare, più in generale, l’Università in Europa e per contribuire a costruire una società europea più equa e sostenibile.

Nei giorni 4 e 5 febbraio 2021 si terrà il primo Forum di EC2U:

  • 4 febbraio, 15.00-16.30: Sustainable Development Goals for a fair European society
  • 5 febbraio, 10.00-11.30: The future European degree

The University of Pavia is part of the European Alliance “European Campus for City Universities – EC2U” (website). It is constituted by seven universities (Poitiers (France), Coimbra (Portugal), Iasi (Romania), Turku (Finland), Jena (Germany) and Salamanca (Spain)) and aims at creating a unique European campus with more than 160,000 students and almost 2 millions of citizens.

EC2U will work on new joint learning and research programs, with a new conception of student mobility, in order to contribute to rethinking the University in Europe and building a fairer and more sustainable society.
