Qui di seguito le “FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions, riviste e approvate dall’Unità di Crisi. (English below)

1) L’UNIVERSITÀ RESTA CHIUSA?

L’Università degli Studi di Pavia è aperta, ma, fino al 3 aprile, l’attività didattica in presenza è sospesa e tutti gli incontri pubblici sono rinviati. Da lunedì 2 marzo è iniziata la didattica a distanza, con lezioni ed esami in via telematica.

2.1.) GLI UFFICI SONO APERTI?

Sì: gli uffici sono aperti. Ma l’accesso sarà limitato ai soli casi di urgenza che non siano gestibili in remoto utilizzando i servizi on-line. Prima di recarsi allo sportello, è quindi necessario telefonare o scrivere al personale in modo tale da verificare le modalità migliori per gestire la richiesta.

2.2.) LE BIBLIOTECHE E I MUSEI SONO APERTI?

Sulla base delle nuove disposizioni del dPCM 8 marzo 2020, i Musei dell’Università sono chiusi fino al 3 aprile.

Così come, per ragioni di cautela, sono chiusi al pubblico gli archivi (Archivio Storico e Centro Manoscritti).

Le Biblioteche invece hanno deciso un piano straordinario per prestito e altri servizi “senza contatto” (link).

3) LE MENSE SONO APERTE?

Sì, ma non tutte. Le mense aperte sono: Fraccaro (dal lunedì al sabato, solo per pranzo), Cravino (tutti i giorni compresa domenica, solo per pranzo), Mensa Centrale – piano terra (dal lunedì al venerdì, solo per pranzo). Sono adottate misure di scaglionamento degli ingressi.

Dal 10 marzo 2020, fino a nuova comunicazione, presso le Mense Fraccaro e Cravino gli studenti potranno ritirare nella fascia oraria dedicata al pranzo un secondo pasto da asporto, da consumarsi a cena. La registrazione del secondo pasto potrà avvenire con un secondo passaggio del tesserino di riconoscimento nella fascia oraria del pranzo.

Gli studenti ospiti di un collegio EDiSU, potranno ritirare gratuitamente il secondo pasto da asporto per la sera. Tale secondo pasto dovrà essere erogato senza il passaggio del tesserino di riconoscimento, ma mediante registrazione su apposito modulo di autodichiarazione di ospitalità in Collegio EDiSU.

4) LE AULE STUDIO E GLI ALTRI SPAZI PER STUDIARE SONO APERTI?

No: al fine di evitare gli assembramenti, le aule studio dell’Ateneo sono chiuse. Per lo stesso motivo, non è possibile utilizzare gli spazi delle biblioteche per studiare.

5) COME FUNZIONANO LE LEZIONI A DISTANZA?

Tutte le attività sono state posticipate di una settimana: lunedì 2 marzo sono pertanto iniziate le lezioni che sarebbero dovute iniziare il 24 febbraio; si tratta principalmente dei corsi di laurea afferenti all’area umanistica. Il 9 marzo sono iniziati i restanti corsi di laurea. Eventuali eccezioni a tale calendario sono comunicate direttamente dai responsabili dei corsi di laurea.

I docenti provvedono a caricare su Kiro la lezione in formato audio (podcast) o video, con l’eventuale supporto di slide e altro materiale didattico. L’Ateneo ha realizzato un tutorial diretto agli studenti e ai docenti, per spiegare il funzionamento della piattaforma.

Inoltre, come anticipato dal Magnifico Rettore, l’Ateneo inizierà a sperimentare, per alcuni insegnamenti, un’innovativa piattaforma per lezioni “live”, che sarà estesa una volta verificata la affidabilità dello strumento.

6) COME FUNZIONANO GLI APPELLI D’ESAME?

Gli appelli orali sono posticipati di una settimana precisa, salva diversa indicazione. Gli esami orali si stanno svolgendo con modalità a distanza (ad es. via Skype), senza richiedere la presenza fisica dello studente. Allo studente potrà essere richiesta l’esibizione di un documento di riconoscimento. Bisognerà essere iscritti all’appello tramite la propria area riservata, come di consueto. Il docente contatterà gli studenti per fornire tutte le indicazioni necessarie sullo svolgimento della prova.

Anche la discussione del compito scritto potrà svolgersi a distanza, anche per via telefonica, al fine di consentire la verbalizzazione del voto.

Gli esami scritti sono invece rinviati a data da destinarsi. Alla ripresa delle attività in presenza, si ipotizza di aprire le strutture anche di sabato, per limitare i disagi e recuperare gli esami persi. Nel fissare le date degli esami in presenza i docenti adotteranno in ogni caso opportuni accorgimenti onde consentire ai candidati di religione ebraica che ne facciano richiesta di sostenere in altro giorno prove di esame fissate in giorno di sabato.

7) COSA SUCCEDE AGLI ESAMI DI LAUREA?

Gli esami di laurea si svolgono, a partire dalla settimana del 2 marzo, attuando la modalità a distanza (ad es. via Skype). La Commissione è autorizzata a riunirsi nella sede di svolgimento della seduta, comunicando al laureando modi e tempi del collegamento in remoto. Si sta valutando la possibilità di organizzare una cerimonia di proclamazione alla ripresa delle attività didattiche.

In questi giorni si stanno già svolgendo le sedute di laurea di Ingegneria e Biologia per via telematica; le sedute di laurea di Medicina si terranno nei giorni 11, 12 e 13 marzo e verranno svolte da remoto, con tutta la commissione dei docenti riunita in Aula Magna e gli studenti collegati via Skype. Seguiranno il 17 e il 18 marzo le lauree online di Psicologia.

8) INVECE PER GLI ESAMI DI LAUREA ABILITANTE E PER GLI ESAMI DI STATO?

Gli esami di Stato e gli esami di laurea abilitanti sono ricalendarizzati in base alle direttive emanate dagli organi competenti. Il Ministero ha predisposto una proroga della data di presentazione delle domande per l’esame di Stato del prossimo luglio (30 aprile anziché 6 marzo).

La data della seconda sessione degli esami di Stato di abilitazione all’esercizio della professione di medico-chirurgo è stata fissata per il giorno 7 aprile 2020.

9) COSA SUCCEDE ALLE ATTIVITÀ POST LAUREA?

Le disposizioni di sospensione si applicano anche alle attività post-laurea.

10) I TIROCINI SONO ANCORA SOSPESI?

Sì: i tirocini curricolari e professionalizzati sono sospesi fino a data da destinarsi in quanto assimilabili ad attività didattica. In particolare, per i tirocini delle professioni sanitarie (inclusi quelli svolti presso i Medici di Medicina Generale) e per scienze motorie, la sospensione è motivata anche dal fatto che questi potrebbero svolgersi in ambienti a rischio contagio.

Gli unici tirocini che possono essere svolti sono quelli extra-curriculari, ossia quelli svolti da persone già in possesso del titolo di laurea. Gli specializzandi sono invece considerati come lavoratori e si atterranno alle decisioni comunicate dai Direttori delle Scuole.

In tutti i casi, alle figure sopra indicate vanno sempre garantite adeguate condizioni di sicurezza e igiene personali, facendo con ciò riferimento – tra l’altro – alla presenza dei prescritti Dispositivi di Protezione Individuale.

11) LAUREANDI (TESISTI), DOTTORANDI, BORSISTI E ASSEGNISTI DI RICERCA, POSSONO SVOLGERE LA LORO ATTIVITÀ IN ATENEO?

I laureandi (anche se tesisti) sono studenti e, pertanto, la loro attività didattica in presenza è integralmente sospesa fino al 3 aprile. Per questo motivo, un laureando non può fino a tale data svolgere l’internato di tesi in laboratorio oppure un’attività di consultazione all’interno delle biblioteche.
Sulla base dell’evoluzione dell’epidemia, tale divieto vale attualmente anche per le attività in presenza di tutto il personale non strutturato dell’Ateneo: dottorandi di ricerca, borsisti e assegnisti di ricerca che, pertanto, non potranno accedere a strutture quali laboratori, biblioteche e studi nelle sedi dell’Università di Pavia.

12) CI SONO CAMBIAMENTI PER IL TEST LINGUISTICO DELL’ERASMUS?

Sì: i test linguistici rimangono fissati come da programma, ma si svolgeranno on-line tra il 9 e il 13 marzo 2020, secondo quanto riportato nell’aggiornamento pubblicato sul sito https://web.unipv.it/coronavirus/ mercoledì 4 marzo e comunicato agli studenti interessati. Si ricorda che sono considerati validi tutti i CFU relativi a prove sostenute entro il 9 marzo e verbalizzati tempestivamente, in modo tale che i voti risultino definitivi e caricati in carriera entro il 15 marzo.

13) È CONFERMATA LA SCADENZA DEL 23 MARZO PER LA TERZA RATA DELLE TASSE UNIVERSITARIE?

L’Ateneo è consapevole della complicata situazione economica conseguente all’emergenza sanitaria che ha colpito molti studenti iscritti.

Pertanto è stata prorogata al 30 maggio 2020 la scadenza della 3^a rata della contribuzione universitaria per l’a.a. 2019/20 per i corsi di laurea e di laurea magistrale.

14) QUALI MISSIONI FUORI SEDE SONO AUTORIZZATE?

Possono essere autorizzate sole le missioni motivate da ragioni di necessità e urgenza, e in cui sia possibile e previsto l’esclusivo uso del proprio automezzo, e siano garantite le prescrizioni di igiene e sicurezza del dPCM dell’8 marzo 2020. Non possono essere autorizzate missioni in cui sia previsto l’uso di mezzo pubblico.

15) COME AVVIENE IL RICEVIMENTO DEGLI STUDENTI?

Il ricevimento degli studenti, compresi i laureandi, avviene a distanza (ad esempio via Skype o telefonicamente). Lo studente concorderà con il docente le modalità attraverso mail.

16) È ANCORA APERTO LO SPORTELLO PER GLI STUDENTI INTERNAZIONALI PRESSO LA QUESTURA? 

No, a seguito delle disposizioni governative, lo sportello è chiuso sino al 3 aprile. Al fine di assicurare comunque il servizio è possibile contattare il personale dell’HelpDesk scrivendo a permesso.soggiorno@unipv.it e allegando il passaporto con visto di studio o permesso di soggiorno (in caso di rinnovo).

Tutti gli appuntamenti fissati dalle Poste saranno riinviati e gli utenti riceveranno un sms con cui verrà data nuova convocazione in Questura.

1) DOES THE UNIVERSITY CLOSE?

The University of Pavia is open, but, until April 3rd , face-to-face teaching is suspended and all public meetings will be rescheduled. Online teaching began on Monday March 2nd , with online lessons and exams.

2.1) ARE THE OFFICES OPEN?

Yes, the offices are open,but the access to offices will be limited to urgent cases that cannot be managed remotely using online services. Before going to the front office, it is therefore necessary to call or e-mail to the staff in order to check the best ways to handle the request.

2.2) ARE THE LIBRARIES AND MUSEUMS OPEN?

Based on the new recommendation of the Prime Minister’s decree of March 8th, 2020, the University Museums are closed until April 3rd .

The archives (historical archives and manuscript center) are closed to the public for precaution.

Libraries have instead decided on an extraordinary plan for loans and other “contactless” services (link).

3) ARE THE CAFETERIAS OPEN?

Yes, but not all of them. The canteens open are: Fraccaro (from Monday to Saturday, only for lunch), Cravino (every day including Sunday, only for lunch), Mensa Centrale – ground floor (from Monday to Friday, only for lunch). In order to enter, staggering measures are adopted.

From 10 March 2020, until further notice, at the Fraccaro and Cravino canteens students will be able to collect a second take-away meal in the time slot dedicated to lunch, to be eaten at dinner. The registration of the second meal can be done by badging for a second time the canteen card.

Students staying at an EDiSU boarding school will be able to pick up the second takeaway meal for the evening free of charge. This second meal shall be provided without a second badging, but by registration on a special self-declaration form provided by the Collegio.

4) ARE THE CLASSROOMS AND OTHER SPACES TO STUDY OPEN?

No: in order to avoid assemblies of people, the University’s study rooms are closed. For the same reason, library spaces cannot be used to study.

5) HOW DO THE DISTANCE LESSONS WORK?

All activities have been postponed for a week: on Monday March 2nd the lessons which should have started on February 24th are therefore started; these are mainly degree programs related to the humanities area. The remaining degree courses will begin on March 9th . Any change to this timetable will be directly advertise by the responsible for the degree courses.

The professors will upload the lesson to Kiro, with the possible support of slides and other teaching materials. The University has created a tutorial aimed at students and teachers, to explain how the platform works.

In addition, as anticipated by the Rector, the University will begin to try, for some lessons, an innovative platform for “streaming” lessons, which will be extended once the good functioning of the system will be verified.

6) HOW DO THE EXAMS WORK?

Oral exams are postponed for a week, unless otherwise indicated. Oral exams are taking place remotely (e.g. via Skype), without requiring the physical presence of the student. The student may be required to present an identification document. You must be registered for the exam through your own private area, as usual. The professors will contact the students to provide all the necessary information regarding the test modality.

The discussion of the written exams may also take place remotely, even by telephone, in order to allow the mark to be recorded.

Written exams are postponed until a later date. When face-to-face activities will start again, the University will be likely opened also on Saturday, to limit the inconvenience and recover the lost exams. The candidates of the Jewish religion will be allowed to request the exam reschedule in a day other than Saturday.

7) WHAT HAPPENS TO THE DEGREE EXAMS?

The graduation exams take place, starting from the week of March 2nd by online mode (e.g. via Skype). The Commission will meet and communicate the modality and times of the online connection to the graduating student. The possibility of a proclamation ceremony when teaching activities will restart is being considered.

In these days the degree sessions of Engineering and Biology are already taking place electronically; the Medicine degree sessions will be held on March 11th , 12th and 13th and they will be carried out remotely, with the commission of the professors meeting in the Aula Magna and the students connected via Skype. Online psychology degrees will follow on March17th and 18th .

8) WHAT ABOUT THE DEGREE EXAMS AND STATE EXAMS?

State exams and qualifying degree exams will be rescheduled according to the decisions issued by the competent bodies. The Ministry has postponed the date for submitting applications for the next state exam of July (April 30th instead of March 6th ).

The date of the second session of the state examinations for the practice of the profession of doctor-surgeon has been set for April 7th , 2020.

9) WHAT HAPPENS TO POST DEGREE ACTIVITIES?

The postgraduate activities are suspended.

10) ARE THE TRAINEES STILL SUSPENDED?

Yes: curricular and professionalized internships are suspended until a later date since they are considered as teaching activity. In particular, for the internships of the health professions (including those carried out at the General Practitioners) and for physical sciences, the stop is also motivated by the fact that these could take place in environments at risk of infection.

The only internships that can be carried out are extra-curricular ones, i.e. those carried out by people with the degree. Graduates are instead considered as workers and will comply with the decisions communicated by the School Directors.

In all cases, adequate conditions of personal safety and hygiene will need to be guaranteed, in particular to the prescribed Personal Protective Equipment.

11) CAN GRADUATES (THESISTS), DOCTORAL STUDENTS, FELLOW AND RESEARCH FELLOW PERFORM THEIR ACTIVITIES AT THE UNIVERSITY?

Graduating students (even if they are graduate students) are students and, therefore, their teaching activity in presence is fully suspended until April 3rd . For this reason, a graduating student cannot carry out the thesis internship in the laboratory or any consultation activity within the libraries.

Based on the epidemic spreading risk, this prohibition is currently valid also for the activity in presence of all not permanent employees of the University. Thus, PhD students, fellows and research fellows cannot enter and work in laboratories, libraries and offices at the University of Pavia.

12) ARE THERE CHANGES FOR THE ERASMUS LANGUAGE TEST?

Yes: the language tests remain fixed as scheduled, but they will take place online between March 9th and 13th 2020, as reported in the update published on the website https://web.unipv.it/coronavirus/ Wednesday March 4th and promptly communicated to the interested students. It should be remembered that all the ECTS relating to tests taken by March 9th are considered valid, if the marks are final and loaded in the career by March 15th.

13) IS THE DEADLINE – 23 MARCH 2020 – FOR THE THIRD INSTALLMENT OF UNIVERSITY FEES CONFIRMED?

The University is aware of the complicated economic situation related to the health emergency that has affected many enrolled students.

Therefore, the deadline of the 3rd installment of the university fee for the academic year 2019/2020 has been extended to 30 May 2020 for the bachelor and master degree courses.

14) WHICH WORK-STUDY RELATED MISSIONS ARE AUTHORIZED?

The only work-study related missions authorized will be the ones motivated by necessary and urgent reasons. Only the use of personal motor vehicle will be allowed, and the hygiene and safety requirements of the dCPM March 8th 2020 must be guaranteed. No missions involving the use of public transport will be allowed.

15) WILL BE POSSIBLE FOR STUDENTS TO HAVE OFFICE-HOURS WITH THE PROFESSORS?

The office-hours for students, including graduating students, will be substituted by online discussion (for example via skype or by telephone). The student will agree day and time with the professor by email.

16) IS THE POLICE STATION HELPDESK FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS STILL OPEN?

No the Police Station HelpDesk for International Students located in Via Rismondo 68 (Questura) is suspended unitl April 3.

In order to ensure the service for the request or the renewals of the permit of stay, students can email permesso.soggiorno@unipv.it and attach their passport with study visa or (in case of renewal) their permit of stay.

All appointments set by the post office will be rescheduled and users will receive a new appointment via sms.
