(English below – Libyan delegation at UNIPV for a training week) Nell’ambito del progetto Erasmus+ “International Credit Mobility” gestito dalla UOC Mobilità in collaborazione con l’ufficio GLOBEC, lo scorso mese sono stati ospiti presso l’Ateneo pavese quattro colleghi provenienti dalla Libia in rappresentanza dell’Università di Misurata e Tripoli.
La delegazione libica composta sia da docenti che staff tecnico amministrativo ha svolto una staff week seguendo lezioni tenute dal Professor Morone e visite al campus universitario al fine di approfondire lo svolgimento e funzionamento giornaliero delle varie attività tenute ad Unipv. Inoltre, l’ufficio UOC Mobilità, UOC Marketing e Recruitment e GLOBEC hanno organizzato dei training specifici sulla gestione delle mobilità di studenti, docenti e staff amministrativo e sulla progettazione descrivendo i progetti attivi e il supporto che viene dato ai docenti in tutte le fasi del progetto dalla scrittura alla rendicontazione. Il training è stata anche l’occasione per presentare alla delegazione libica l’alleanza EC2U di cui UNIPV è membro attivo.
Non è la prima volta che l’Università di Pavia ospita delegazioni universitarie dalla Libia, vi è una forte collaborazione sulla tematica della cooperazione universitaria. Infatti, Unipv è membro del network UNIMED – Unione delle Università del Mediterraneo a cui aderiscono Atenei dei Paesi che si affacciano sul bacino del Mediterraneo, tra cui la Libia – e coordina il progetto SAHA – raiSe libyAn Higher education heAlth sector for the benefit of local society.

Libyan delegation at UNIPV for a training week
Within the Erasmus+ project “International Credit Mobility”, managed by UOC Mobility in collaboration with the GLOBEC office, four colleagues from Libya were at University of Pavia last month, representing the University of Misrata and Tripoli.
The Libyan delegation composed of both teachers and administrative technical staff has carried out a staff training week, following lectures given by Professor Morone and visiting the university campus in order to deepen the development and daily functioning of the various activities held at UNIPV. In addition, UOC Mobility, UOC Marketing and Recruitment, and GLOBEC office organised specific trainings on students, professors, and administrative staff mobility management, describing the activated projects and the support that is given to the professors at all stages of the project, from writing to reporting. The training was also an opportunity to present to the Libyan delegation the EC2U alliance, of which UNIPV is an active member.
It is not the first time that the University of Pavia hosts university delegations from Libya and there is a strong collaboration on the subject of university cooperation. In fact, UNIPV is a member of the UNIMED network – Mediterranean Universities Union to which Universities of the countries bordering the Mediterranean basin belong, including Libya – and coordinates the SAHA project – raiSe libyAn Higher education heAlth sector for the benefit of local society.
