(English below – Virtual simulation game-Megacities (EC2U): Registration is open until October 23!) Fino al 23 ottobre 2022 sarà possibile iscriversi al Virtual simulation game – Megacities (EC2U). Si tratta di un’iniziativa promossa dall’alleanza EC2U e organizzata dall’Università Friedrich Schiller di Jena, in collaborazione con l’Università di Poitiers e l’Università Alexandru Ioan Cuza di Iași.
L’evento consiste in un gioco di simulazione virtuale a squadre, che si distribuirà nell’arco di cinque settimane, durante i mesi di novembre e dicembre.
Il gioco prevede cinque sessioni, una per settimana, della durata di 3 ore ciascuna. Le sessioni si svolgeranno nelle giornate di lunedì, dalle ore 10:00 alle ore 15:00 ECT, secondo il seguente calendario:
- 7 novembre – Presentazione e lancio
- 14 novembre – Round 1
- 21 novembre – Round 2
- 28 novembre – Round 3
- 5 dicembre – Round 4 + Conclusione
Ognuna delle università dell’alleanza sarà rappresentata da una squadra, che collaborerà con le altre per raggiungere un obiettivo comune, all’interno di un ambiente internazionale. Questa esperienza consentirà ai partecipanti di migliorare e sviluppare le proprie capacità di comunicazione, team building e mediazione.
La simulazione si svolge interamente in lingua inglese, per partecipare è dunque richiesta la conoscenza della lingua (livello intermedio).
Al termine delle cinque settimane, a tutti i team verrà rilasciato un attestato di partecipazione.

Virtual simulation game-Megacities (EC2U): Registration is open until October 23!
Until the 23rd of October, it will be possible to register for the Virtual simulation game – Megacities (EC2U). It is an initiative promoted by the EC2U alliance and organised by the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena in collaboration with the University of Poitiers and the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași.
The event consists of a virtual team simulation game, which will take place for five weeks, during the months of November and December.
The game consists of five sessions, one per week, each lasting 3 hours. The sessions will take place on Monday, from 10 am to 3 pm ECT, according to the following schedule:
- 7th Nov – Kick-Off
- 14th Nov – Round 1
- 21th Nov – Round 2
- 28th Nov – Round 3
- 5th Dec – Round 4 + Conclusion
Each of the alliance’s universities will be represented by a team that will collaborate with the others to achieve a common goal, within an international environment. This experience will allow the participants to improve and develop their communication, team-building, and mediation skills.
The simulation game will be entirely in English, therefore knowledge of the language is required to participate (intermediate level).
At the end of the five weeks, all teams will receive a participation certificate.
