(English below – MAD4CANCER a new international Master’s Degree program in Cancer Biology is in progress) Dal 19 al 21 settembre 2022 si è tenuto a Pavia il primo meeting internazionale del progetto Erasmus+ Mundus Design Measures (EMDM) “Towards an International Master Degree in Cancer Biology”.
Il progetto è sviluppato dall’Università di Pavia, dall’Università di Montpellier (Francia) e dall’Istituto di Ricerca in Immunologia (IRIC) dell’Università di Montréal (Canada) con l’obiettivo di creare MAD4CANCER, un nuovo corso di Laurea Magistrale Erasmus Mundus Congiunto interamente focalizzato sugli studi per la lotta contro il cancro.
Attori interni a Unipv sono la Prof.ssa Natalia Simona Pellegata con un team di ricercatori del Dipartimento di Biologia e Biotecnologie, il personale amministrativo del GLOBEC, del Servizio Relazioni Internazionali e dell’Admission Office.
Durante il meeting i membri delle tre istituzioni partner si sono confrontati sulle sfide legate alla realizzazione di questo nuovo corso che porterà gli studenti a muoversi fra gli atenei coinvolti e a ottenere un titolo congiunto.

MAD4CANCER a new international Master’s Degree program in Cancer Biology is in progress
The first international meeting of the Erasmus+ Mundus Design Measures (EMDM) project “Towards an International Master Degree in Cancer Biology” was held in Pavia from September 19th to 21st.
The project is carried out by the University of Pavia, the University of Montpellier (France), and the Institute for Research in Immunology (IRIC) associated with the University of Montréal (Canada) with the aim of creating MAD4CANCER, a new Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree course entirely focused on cancer studies.
Internal Unipv participants are Prof. Natalia Simona Pellegata with a team of researchers from the Department of Biology and Biotechnology, the administrative staff from GLOBEC, the International Relations Service and the Admission Office.
During the meeting, members of the three partner Institutions discussed the challenges related to the realization of this new course, which will enable the students to move among the Universities involved and to obtain a Joint Degree.
