(English Below) Dal 4 al 7 aprile 2022, l’Università di Pavia ospiterà il 4° Forum EC2U, un evento ricco di conferenze, workshop, discussioni e attività diverse.
L’European Campus of City-Universities (EC2U), un’Alleanza di sette università europee, il cui obiettivo è creare un campus paneuropeo, organizza infatti ogni sei mesi un Forum per riunire studenti, docenti, cittadini e autorità locali e regionali della comunità EC2U per stimolare comunicazione su questioni urgenti e scambio di buone pratiche.
Un programma ricco e stimolante
Libero e aperto a tutti, il Forum di Pavia propone un programma ricco e stimolante, che unisce eventi virtuali e fisici, presso l’Università.
“Durante [il Forum] non solo le delegazioni delle nostre università europee, ma tutti i cittadini, saranno invitati a scoprire e condividere gli stimoli che il Forum porterà alla luce, verso un futuro di conoscenze e competenze condivise, senza barriere geografiche o culturali” ha spiegato il Rettore dell’Università degli Studi di Pavia, Francesco Svelto.
L’evento inizierà con riunioni a porte chiuse per discutere del futuro dell’Alleanza e aprirà al pubblico il 6 e 7 aprile. Il programma offre non solo alla Comunità EC2U, ma anche alla cittadinanza pavese, la possibilità di confrontarsi sui principali temi dell’Alleanza, come sostenibilità, salute e benessere, multilinguismo, educazione digitale, microcredentials, ricerca e innovazione, ecc. Sarà anche l’occasione per presentare le diverse azioni realizzate dall’Alleanza come la promozione dei 3 Master congiunti EC2U e il lancio dell’app EC2U My Mobile Tutor, la guida virtuale per gli studenti che studieranno presso le Università di EC2U. Il programma prevede inoltre attività specifiche per gli studenti come registrazioni di podcast, workshop ed eventi sportivi.

Settimana EC2U a Pavia
Durante il Forum si svolgeranno altri eventi riguardanti la comunità EC2U, tra cui:
- L’EC2U Entrepreneurial Week: gli studenti selezionati si ritroveranno a Pavia per celebrare l’innovazione transdisciplinare, il lavoro di squadra interculturale e le esperienze imprenditoriali.
- CultCities Event organizzato dal Comune di Pavia: ogni delegazione delle città del Consorzio si incontreranno per visitare l’immenso patrimonio culturale di Pavia, presentare e condividere buone pratiche di conservazione e riuso in atto a livello locale e firmare l’accordo di cooperazione che porterà alla costruzione del Culture and Heritage Living Lab.

This April, from 4th to 7th, the University of Pavia welcomes the EC2U community for the 4th EC2U Forum, an event full of conferences, workshops, discussions and various activities.
The European Campus of City-Universities (EC2U), an Alliance of seven European Universities, whose goal is to create a pan-European campus, organises every six months a Forum to gather the EC2U students, staff, citizens and local and regional authorities to stimulate communication on pressing issues and exchanges of good practices.
A rich and inspiring programme
Free and open to all, the Forum in Pavia proposes a rich and inspiring programme, combining virtual and face-to-face events.
“During [the Forum] not only the delegations of our European universities, but all citizens, will be invited to discover and share the stimuli that the Forum will bring to light, towards the future of shared knowledge and skills, without any linguistic, geographical or cultural barriers.” the Rector of the University of Pavia, Francesco Svelto explained.
The event will start with closed working meetings to discuss the future of the Alliance before opening to the general public on 6th and 7th April. The programme offers not only to the EC2U Community, but also the citizenship of Pavia, the chance to discuss the Alliance’s main themes such as sustainability, health and well-being, multilingualism, digital education, microcredentials, research and innovation, etc. The Forum will also be the opportunity to present the various actions carried out by the Alliance such as the promotion of the 3 EC2U Joint Master’s Degrees and the launch of the EC2U My Mobile Tutor app, the virtual guide for students that will be studying in one of the EC2U Campuses.
The Forum will also include tailor-made activities for students such as debates, podcast recordings, workshops and sports events.

EC2U week in Pavia
During the Forum, other important events will take place concerning the EC2U community:
- The EC2U Entrepreneurial Week: selected students will gather in Pavia to celebrate transdisciplinary innovation, intercultural teamwork, and entrepreneurial experiences.
- The Cult Cities Event organised by the Municipality of Pavia: each delegation from cities of the Consortium will have the opportunity to enjoy the huge cultural heritage of Pavia, present and share conservation and reuse best practices ongoing at local level and sign a cooperation agreement that will lead to the construction of the Culture and Heritage Living Lab.
