I premi, distribuiti annualmente, sono volti a riconoscere e valorizzare i progressi compiuti nel raggiungimento degli obiettivi degli SDGs tramite l’attribuzione di cinque diverse categorie di Premi:
- FAO Champion Award,
- Partenariato,
- Risultati,
- Innovazione,
- Dipendenti.
Il bando è aperto a singoli individui, Organizzazioni, Governi, Fondazioni, Università o leader del settore privato che si siano distinti nella trasformazione del sistema agro-alimentare e nel cambiamento verso una produzione, una nutrizione, un ambiente e una vita migliore.
Il termine per la presentazione delle domande è il 1° marzo 2022.

Launch of the FAO Awards 2022 Campaign
FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) has launched the new AWARDS 2022 campaign. The awards, distributed annually, are aimed at recognizing and enhancing the progress made in achieving the objectives of the SDGs through the awarding of five different categories of awards:
- FAO Champion Award,
- Partnership,
- Results,
- Innovation,
- Employees.
The call is open to individuals, Organizations, Governments, Foundations, Universities or private sector leaders who have distinguished themselves in the transformation of the agri-food system and in the change towards a better production, nutrition, environment and life.
The deadline for submitting applications is March 1, 2022.
