(English below) Il Coimbra Group Latin America Working Group, di cui l’Università di Pavia fa parte, insieme al Centre for Contemporary Latin American Studies (CCLAS) dell’Università di Edimburgo, organizza il lancio virtuale del libro per la pubblicazione “Why Latin America Matters”.
Questa raccolta di saggi si presenta come un tentativo di fornire una comprensione approfondita degli approcci sociali, politici, economici, ambientali e culturali significativi che hanno avuto luogo in America Latina negli ultimi decenni.
Il lancio virtuale del libro è venerdì 12 novembre 2021, dalle 16:00 alle 18:00 CET e sarà aperto da Ludovic Thilly, presidente del comitato esecutivo del Gruppo Coimbra, che arriva da una lunga collaborazione con l’America Latina.

The Coimbra Group Latin America Working Group, to which the University of Pavia is a part, together with the Centre for Contemporary Latin American Studies (CCLAS) of the University of Edinburgh organises the virtual book launch for the publication “Why Latin America Matters”.
This collection of essays is presented as an attempt to provide a deepened understanding of significant social, political, economic, environmental and cultural approaches, that have taken place in Latin America during recent decades.
The virtual book launch is on Friday 12 November, 16h00 – 18h00 CET and will be opened by Ludovic Thilly, Chair of the Executive Board of the Coimbra Group, which comes from a long collaboration with Latin America.
