ESN Pavia, l’associazione studentesca che promuove la mobilità internazionale degli studenti dell’Università di Pavia, festeggia il suo trentesimo anniversario con una settimana di eventi da non perdere! Tutti gli studenti sono invitati a partecipare alla Mobility Fair, alla conferenza “Erasmus +: How can mobility change your life” e alle attività serali per conoscere gli studenti internazionali, culminanti con l’ultimo grande evento dell’anno: l’Eurodinner.
La Celebration Week avrà luogo presso le aule e i cortili dell’Università degli Studi di Pavia dal 9 al 13 maggio 2023.
Durante la mattinata del 12 maggio, dalle 10:00 alle 12:00, gli studenti avranno l’opportunità di partecipare alla Mobility Fair presso il cortile Volta, un evento in cui potranno scoprire tutto sulla mobilità internazionale. Sarà anche un’occasione per parlare con studenti che hanno vissuto l’esperienza Erasmus in prima persona e per chiedere informazioni e chiarimenti sui principali programmi di mobilità internazionale promossi dall’Ateneo.
Nel pomeriggio, dalle 14.00 alle 17.00 si terrà la conferenza “Erasmus +: How can mobility change your life” presso l’Aula Magna. Gli studenti avranno l’opportunità di ascoltare le loro esperienze, di ricevere informazioni sui programmi Erasmus + e EC2U e di partecipare a dibattiti sul tema della mobilità internazionale, delle opportunità di studio all’estero e dell’importanza della cultura internazionale.
In questa occasione interverranno alcuni membri dell’Ufficio di mobilità internazionale dell’Università, responsabili e studenti dell’alleanza EC2U, il giornalista Beppe Severgnini e Michele Scarpinato, ex soci, il presidente di ESN Italia e la direttrice della fondazione garagErasmus.
Le attività serali saranno un’opportunità per gli studenti locali di incontrare e fare amicizia con gli studenti internazionali:
- “Tandem Night: European Edition” 9 Maggio 2023: Una serata di scambio linguistico con studenti internazionali accompagnata da attività interattive a tema Europa che ti permetteranno di scoprire di più sulla cultura e la storia di altri paesi. L’evento si terrà presso il locale Safarà e rappresenta un’opportunità unica per praticare le lingue straniere e conoscere studenti internazionali provenienti da tutto il mondo.
- “ST.E.P. through the years” 11 Maggio 2023: L’associazione ST.E.P. ESN Pavia festeggia il suo trentesimo anniversario con una grande festa di compleanno. L’evento si terrà presso il locale Hide e sarà un’occasione per festeggiare insieme ai membri dell’associazione, ripercorrendo la storia e i momenti degli anni passati. Non importa se non sei un membro dell’associazione o non sei mai partito per fare l’Erasmus, questa è l’occasione perfetta per conoscere altre persone e scoprire di più sul mondo Erasmus.
- “Eurodinner” 13 Maggio 2023: L’evento clou dell’anno in cui tutti gli studenti internazionali condividono con voi piatti tipici dei loro paesi di origine. Quest’anno l’evento si terrà con una novità: il white party! Siete tutti invitati a partecipare a questa cena internazionale che celebra la diversità culturale presso l’agriturismo Cascina Marzana, un luogo immerso nel verde raggiungibile grazie al servizio di navette offerto da ST.E.P. ESN Pavia. Tante sorprese vi attendono!

ST.E.P. ESN Pavia turns 30: “Celebration Week” May 9-13 at the University of Pavia
ST.E.P. ESN Pavia, the student association that promotes international student mobility at the University of Pavia, is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a week of events not to be missed! All students are invited to attend the Mobility Fair, the conference “Erasmus +: How can mobility change your life,” and evening activities to meet international students, culminating with the last big event of the year: the Eurodinner.
Celebration Week will take place in the classrooms and courtyards of the University of Pavia from May 9 to 13.
During the morning of May 12 from 10 a.m. to noon, students will have the opportunity to participate in the Mobility Fair at the Volta courtyard, an event where they can find out all about international mobility. It will also be an opportunity to talk to students who have experienced Erasmus firsthand and to ask for information and clarification on the main international mobility programs promoted by the University.
In the afternoon, the conference “Erasmus +: How can mobility change your life” will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Aula Magna. Students will have the opportunity to hear about their experiences, receive information about the Erasmus + and EC2U programs and participate in discussions on the topic of international mobility, study abroad opportunities and the importance of international culture.
Speakers on this occasion will include members of the University’s International Mobility Office, EC2U alliance officers and students, journalist Beppe Severgnini and Michele Scarpinato, former members, the president of ESN Italy and the director of the garagErasmus foundation.
The evening activities will be an opportunity for local students to meet and make friends with international students:
- “Tandem Night: European Edition” May 09, 2023: A language exchange evening with international students accompanied by Europe-themed interactive activities that will allow you to learn more about the culture and history of other countries. The event will be held at the local Safara and is a unique opportunity to practice foreign languages and meet international students from around the world.
- “ST.E.P. through the years” May 11, 2023: The ST.E.P. ESN Pavia association celebrates its 30th anniversary with a big birthday party. The event will be held at the Hide venue and will be an opportunity to celebrate together with members of the association, going through the history and moments of the past years. It doesn’t matter if you are not a member of the association or have never gone on Erasmus, this is the perfect opportunity to meet other people and find out more about the Erasmus world.
- “Eurodinner” May 13, 2023: The top event of the year where all international students share with you typical dishes from their countries. This year the event will be held with a novelty: the white party! You are all invited to attend this international dinner celebrating cultural diversity at the Cascina Marzana farmhouse, a place surrounded by greenery that can be reached thanks to the shuttle service offered by ST.E.P. ESN Pavia. Many surprises await you!
