(English below – ChildCA Training in Pavia: modernising pediatric education in Central Asia – Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan) Tre giovani insegnanti dell’Uzbekistan e del Tagikistan hanno completato la loro formazione in Genetica, Anatomia e Chirurgia Pediatrica organizzata nell’ambito del progetto Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education ChildCA – Improvement of children care teaching as a template for modernizing postgraduate medical education in Central Asia.

Il progetto è coordinato dall’Università degli Studi di Pavia – prof. Gian Battista Parigi e GLOBEC – Global Center for Strategic Engagement.

I partecipanti Qurbonalii Mardonzoda, Manizha Kurbanova e Dilnoza Khasanova che rappresentano Khatlon Medical State University (Tagikistan), Avicenna Tajik State Medical University e Bukhara State Medical Institute (Uzbekistan) hanno trascorso un intero mese a Pavia lavorando presso l’Ospedale San Matteo nei Dipartimenti di Anatomia e Genetica.

La formazione è stata organizzata nell’ambito del Work Package 4 (WP4): Formazione sulle nuove tecniche di insegnamento (pediatria, chirurgia pediatrica, neuropsichiatria) del personale accademico coinvolto nei nuovi curricula integrati.

Le attività sono destinate a giovani medici del Kazakistan, dell’Uzbekistan e del Tagikistan che impareranno nuove metodologie di insegnamento da applicare nei nuovi curricula sviluppati negli istituti di istruzione superiore partner dell’Asia centrale.

Parallelamente, i partner dell’UE di ChildCA – l’Università Jagellonica (Polonia) e l’Università di Friburgo (Germania) hanno ospitato altri cinque giovani insegnanti dell’Asia centrale che hanno partecipato alla formazione in genetica, biochimica e malattie metaboliche.

ChildCA Training in Pavia: modernising pediatric education in Central Asia – Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan.

Three young teachers from Uzbekistan and Tajikistan have completed their training in Genetics, Anatomy, and Pediatric Surgery organized in the framework of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education project ChildCA – Improvement of children care teaching as a template for modernizing postgraduate medical education in Central Asia.

The project is coordinated by the University of Pavia – prof. Gian Battista Parigi and GLOBEC – Global Center for Strategic Engagement.

The training participants Qurbonalii Mardonzoda, Manizha Kurbanova, and Dilnoza Khasanova who represent Khatlon Medical State University (Tajikistan), Avicenna Tajik State Medical University, and Bukhara State Medical Institute (Uzbekistan) spent an entire month in Pavia working at San Matteo Hospital and the Departments of Anatomy and Clinical Genetics.

The training was organized in the context of Work Package 4 (WP4): Training in new teaching techniques (pediatrics, pediatric surgery, neuropsychiatry) of academic staff involved in the new integrated curricula. 

The activities are intended for young doctors from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan who will learn new teaching methodologies to be applied in the new curricula being developed in Central Asian partner HEIs.

Parallelly, ChildCA EU partners – Jagiellonian University (Poland) and Freiburg University (Germany) hosted another five young teachers from Central Asia who participated in the training in genetics, biochemistry, and metabolic diseases.
