Il Laboratorio Arvedi di Diagnostica non Invasiva dell’Università di Pavia, afferente al Centro Interdipartimentale di Studi e Ricerche per il Patrimonio Culturale (CISRiC) e con sede presso il Museo del Violino di Cremona, ha attivato un Accordo con la Korea National University for Cultural Heritage (KNUCH) della Repubblica di Corea per l’istituzione di un Joint Lab presso il laboratorio cremonese.
L’accordo prevede, tra le due istituzioni, attività di ricerca congiunte sul tema delle scienze applicate al restauro e alla conservazione dei Beni Culturali, con scambio di studenti, dottorandi e ricercatori tra i due Paesi.
L’accordo è stato presentato martedì 13 aprile 2022 in un incontro online al quale hanno partecipato gli ambasciatori di Italia e Corea, rappresentanti dei Ministeri degli Esteri dei due Paesi, e, per l’Università di Pavia, il dott. Andrea Pichelli (GLOBEC – Center for Global Strategic Engagement) e il Prof. Marco Malagodi, Responsabile Scientifico del Laboratorio Arvedi di Cremona, il quale ha presentato il progetto di ricerca quinquennale del Joint Lab.

The Arvedi Laboratory of Non-Invasive Diagnostics of our University, belonging to the Interdepartmental Center of Studies and Research for Cultural Heritage (CISRiC) and based at the Museo del Violino of Cremona, has activated an Agreement with the Korea National University for Cultural Heritage (KNUCH) of the Republic of Korea for the establishment of a Joint Lab at the Cremonese laboratory.
The Agreement provides for joint research activities between the two institutions on the subject of sciences applied to the restoration and conservation of Cultural Heritage, with the exchange of students, doctoral students and researchers between the two countries.
The agreement was presented on Tuesday 13 April, 2022 in an online meeting attended by the ambassadors of Italy and Korea, representatives of the foreign ministries of the two countries, and, for the University of Pavia, Dr. Andrea Pichelli (GLOBEC – Center for Global Strategic Engagement) and Prof. Marco Malagodi, Scientific Manager of the Arvedi Laboratory in Cremona, who presented the Joint Lab’s five-year research project.
