(English Below) L’European Campus for City University, alleanza nata nel novembre 2020, riunisce sette università storiche (Pavia, Coimbra, Iasi, Jena, Poitiers, Salamanca e Turku), con l’ambizione di sviluppare sinergie tra stakeholder accademici e non, internazionalizzare la vita nei campus universitari e uno spazio innovativo che dia origine a una mobilità fluida tra i partner al fine di realizzare un’Europa più unita.


Nonostante il contesto difficoltoso, quest’anno la comunità EC2U ha raggiunto grandi risultati organizzando diverse attività tra cui:

• Forum EC2U (2 online e uno in presenza a Salamanca)

• Progettazione di 3 Lauree Magistrali internazionali congiunte:
– Lifelong well-being and healthy ageing
– Arts in European languages, cultures and societies in contact
– Science in sustainable cities and communities

• Summer School “Health Ageing and Wellbeing” implementata a Iasi

• Think Tank #Value4YourValues (online)

• Seed project “Bando mobilità per docenti, assegnisti e dottorandi di ricerca”

• Science Battle avvenuta tra l’Università di Turku, Poitiers, Pavia e vinta da quest’ultima.

• Approvazione del progetto di ricerca collegato ad EC2U e finanziato da Horizon 2020 “RI4C2 – Research & Innovation for Cities and Citizens”

Entrepreneurial Academy Week (4-8 aprile)
Think Tank “Economia circolare: chiave per il cambiamento e la sostenibilità” (Febbraio 2022)
Winter School “B.SuRe – Building Sustainable Reuse” (gennaio/febbario formato online)
Virtual Institutes: una serie di conferenze incentrate sugli #SDG3 #SDG4 #SDG11
• Lancio di ulteriori mobilità all’interno del Seed project.

The European Campus for City University, an alliance born in November 2020, brings together seven historic universities (Pavia, Coimbra, Iasi, Jena, Poitiers, Salamanca and Turku), with the ambition of developing synergies between academic and non-academic stakeholders, internationalizing life on university campuses and an innovative space that gives life to a fluid mobility between partners in order to achieve a more united Europe.

Despite the difficult context, this year the EC2U community has achieved great results by organizing various activities including:

• Think Tank # Value4YourValues (online)

• Seed project “Call for mobility for professors, research fellows and PhD students”

• Science Battle that took place between the University of Turku, Poitiers, Pavia and won by the latter.

• Approval of the research project linked to EC2U and funded by Horizon 2020 “RI4C2 – Research & Innovation for Cities and Citizens”
