(English Below – European Week for Waste Reduction) Inizierà il 20 novembre la Settimana Europea per la Riduzione dei rifiuti (SERR), la più grande campagna di sensibilizzazione sulla prevenzione dei rifiuti nata grazie al sostegno dalla Commissione Europea. L’iniziativa promuove la realizzazione di azioni di sensibilizzazione sulle 3R: riduzione, riuso e riciclo dei rifiuti.
La SERR vuole coinvolgere ogni attore della società e, in particolare, sensibilizzare i singoli cittadini a contribuire in modo creativo alla riduzione dei rifiuti in prima persona e a condividere il messaggio d’azione ad altri.
A Pavia, grazie alla collaborazione nata tra OSA, GLOBEC, Azione Universitaria, Plastic Free, STEP ESN Pavia e gruppo locale della rete Zero Waste, si svolgeranno i seguenti eventi:
- Sabato 27 novembre: SERRiously Sustainable
Ore 14: incontro per gli studenti presso l’Aula Magna dell’Università. Sarà illustrato il programma della Settimana Europea per la Riduzione dei Rifiuti e le azioni intraprese dall’Università e dalla città di Pavia.
Interverrà inoltre SfusoDiffuso, il gruppo di giovani che dal Comune di Calice Ligure promuove l’impegno verso azioni e comportamenti più ecologici e sostenibili.
Ore 16.30: Tour dei negozi ecosostenibili in città
Ore 18.30: Aperitivo (Location TBD)

The European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWW), the largest awareness campaign on waste prevention born thanks to the support of the European Commission, will start on November 20. The initiative promotes the realization of awareness actions on the 3Rs: waste reduction, reuse and recycling.
The EWWR wants to involve every actor in society, and in particular to sensitize individual citizens to contribute creatively to the reduction of waste themselves and to share the message of action to others.
In Pavia, thanks to the collaboration between OSA, GLOBEC, Azione Universitaria, Plastic Free, STEP ESN Pavia and the local group of the Zero Waste network, the following events will take place:
- Saturday 27 November: SERRiously Sustainable
2.00 pm: meeting for students in the Aula Magna of the University. The program of the European Week for Waste Reduction and the actions undertaken by the University and the city of Pavia will be illustrated.
SfusoDiffuso, the group of young people who from the Municipality of Calice Ligure promotes the commitment to more ecological and sustainable actions and behaviors will also intervene.
16.30: Tour of the eco-sustainable shops in the city
18.30: Aperitif (Location TBD)
