Le Biblioteche dell’Università di Pavia – pur continuando a erogare alcuni servizi a distanza e a rimanere chiuse al pubblico – hanno stilato un piano straordinario per consentire l’accesso ad alcune categorie di utenti per la consultazione del materiale posseduto, previa sottoscrizione dell’apposito Modulo di richiesta di ammissione alle sale di consultazione e secondo le modalità definite dal piano straordinario dei Servizi Bibliotecari, Fase 2.2.: “Vicini, ma a distanza”: (English below)
- Accesso alle biblioteche per la consultazione
L’utente deve fare richiesta alla biblioteca di suo interesse con un anticipo di almeno 48 ore rispetto alla data desiderata.
- Accesso alla Biblioteca di Economia per la consultazione della banca dati Bloomberg
Sarà consentito l’accesso alla sala Bloomberg secondo le modalità riportate nel piano straordinario dei Servizi Bibliotecari, Fase 2.2.: “Vicini, ma a distanza”. L’accesso alla sala Bloomberg sarà consentito solo su prenotazione attraverso la consueta procedura.
- Servizio di prestito locale e interbibliotecario in modalità ‘contactless’
Per l’intera durata della Fase 2.2, continuerà ad essere attivo il servizio di prestito locale previa prenotazione del materiale. I punti di ritiro sono segnalati nel piano straordinario dei Servizi Bibliotecari (Fase 2.2.: “Vicini, ma a distanza”) e avverranno senza la mediazione del personale normalmente addetto al front office.
- Servizio di assistenza informativa da remoto
L’utente potrà continuare a disporre di un servizio di assistenza informativa da remoto, tramite collegamenti telefonici, e-mail e Skype; per usufruirne è necessario contattare le singole biblioteche dell’Ateneo (per i recapiti cfr. http://biblioteche.unipv.it/home/biblioteche).
- Servizio di fornitura di documenti in formato .pdf
Continuerà ad essere disponibile il servizio di fornitura di documenti in formato .pdf. Per tutta la fase 2.2, il servizio sarà esteso straordinariamente anche a materiale (cartaceo ed elettronico) posseduto dalle stesse biblioteche dell’Ateneo (inclusa la Biblioteca di Musicologia e Beni Culturali di Cremona), nel rispetto delle vigenti norme sul diritto d’autore.
- Servizio di prestito librario a domicilio, tramite corriere
Continuerà ad essere attivo il servizio di prestito librario a domicilio, tramite corriere e senza oneri per l’utente, destinato in particolar modo ai non residenti a Pavia e a Cremona. Il servizio sarà eccezionalmente esteso anche a materiale librario normalmente in sola consultazione.
- Risorse elettroniche consultabili da remoto
Si ricorda che molte risorse elettroniche acquistate dall’Ateneo sono consultabili anche da remoto, tramite connessione da fuori Ateneo (informazioni disponibili al seguente link: http://biblioteche.unipv.it/home/servizi/connessione-da-fuori-ateneo).

Sono inoltre disponibili, in questo periodo di emergenza, servizi di solidarietà digitale offerti da editori e aggregatori: si tratta di accesso a banche dati, riviste elettroniche e e-book non sottoscritti dall’Ateneo, servizi a supporto della didattica e dell’insegnamento, ampliamento del numero degli accessi contemporanei, modalità di accesso da remoto aggiuntive e alternative. - MediaLibraryOnLine – MLOL
Si ricorda che è possibile accedere al (ed usufruire del) servizio MediaLibraryOnLine (MLOL), la prima rete italiana di biblioteche pubbliche, accademiche e scolastiche, che consente di consultare e-book dei maggiori editori e giornali provenienti da tutto il mondo, di ascoltare musica e audiolibri in streaming e download, nonché di accedere a centinaia di migliaia di altre risorse digitali (https://openweb.unipv.it/openweb/mlol/).
- Erogazione Corso BMC-Bloomberg Markets Concepts da remoto
L’Ateneo, a partire dall’8 giugno 2020, offre la possibilità di seguire da remoto il Corso BMC (Bloomberg Markets Concepts) agli studenti di Economia prossimi alla laurea [giugno-dicembre 2020] e non residenti/non domiciliati a Pavia. Services of the University Libraries Special Plan: Phase 2.2 (from 08/06/2020) – “Close, but at distance”
The Libraries of the University of Pavia – while continuing to provide some remote services and to remain closed to the public – have drawn up an extraordinary plan to allow access to certain categories of users for consultation of the material owned (see Phase 2.2 “Close, but at distance”)
- Access to libraries for consultation
With the entry into force of the extraordinary plan, Phase 2.2, access to some libraries for consultation of the material owned will be allowed to the following categories of users, but only if equipped with any authorization and upon signing the appropriate form for admission to the consultation rooms (hereinafter ‘Form‘).
The form for the request for admission to the consultation rooms (mandatory for users belonging to the categories indicated below: see points 1-6) can be downloaded through various links in this document.
1) Bachelor students writing the final thesis (only if authorized by the supervisor and after signing the Form)
2) Master students writing the final thesis (by signing the Form)
3) PhD students (upon signing the Form)
4) Research fellows and fellows (upon signing the Form)
5) Tutors (upon signing the Form)
6) Contractors (upon signing the Form)
7) Researchers (it is not necessary to sign the Form)
8) Teachers (it is not necessary to sign the Form)
For access, the user must make a request to the library of his interest, by sending an email with an advance of at least 48 hours from the desired date and should.
- Access to the Library of Economics for consultation of the Bloomberg database
During Phase 2.2, access to the Bloomberg room will be allowed in the manner indicated in Phase 2.2 “Close, but at distance”. Access to the Bloomberg room will be permitted only by reservation through the usual procedure.
- Local and interlibrary loan service in ‘contactless’ mode
For the entire duration of Phase 2.2, users, if necessary, will be able to take advantage of the local loan service. The material can be collected, upon communication to the user by e-mail, at some points of the libraries specifically indicated in Phase 2.2 “Close, but at distance” and without meeting in person the staff normally assigned to the front office.
- Online support service
Customers can ask information and support, via telephone, email and Skype; please contact the relevant University library (for contact details, see http://biblioteche.unipv.it/home/biblioteche).
- Service for documents in .pdf format
The service of supplying documents in .pdf format will be available again. Throughout Phase 2, the service will be extraordinarily extended also to resources (paper and electronic) owned by the University Libraries (including the Library of Musicology and Cultural Heritage of Cremona), in compliance with current regulations on copyright.
- Book loan service at home, by courier
The book lending service at home, by courier and at no charge for customers, will be exceptionally active, intended in particular for those ones who are not in Pavia and Cremona. Those who want to use it shall send an email request to the library email address (http://biblioteche.unipv.it/home/biblioteche).
- Electronic resources that can be accessed online
Please note that many electronic resources purchased by the University can also be consulted online, via connection from outside the University (information available at the following link: http://libraries.unipv.it/services/off-campus-access/).

In this emergency period, digital solidarity services offered by publishers and editors are also available: these are access to databases, electronic journals and e-books not subscribed by the University, services to support teaching and training, expansion of the number of simultaneous accesses, additional and alternative remote access methods. - MediaLibraryOnLine – MLOL
In addition to the above services, please note that you can access the MediaLibraryOnLine (MLOL) service, the first Italian network of public, academic and school libraries, which allows you to consult e-books of major publishers and newspapers from all over the world, to listen to music and audiobooks in streaming and downloads, as well as to access hundreds of thousands of other digital resources (https://openweb.unipv.it/openweb/mlol).
- Remote BMC-Bloomberg Markets Concepts Course Delivery / Library of Economics
The University offers the possibility of remotely delivering the BMC (Bloomberg Markets Concepts) course aimed at students close to graduation [June-December 2020] and non-residents / non-domiciled in Pavia. For more information: Fase 2.2.1 (Addendum): “Vicini, ma a distanza”.
