Gottlob Frege is considered one of the founding fathers of analytic philosophy. His crucial contribution stems from his work in logic, which informs the whole of his ensuing philosophical production spanning the philosophy of mathematics, the philosophy of language, and epistemology. Bearing on Patricia Blanchette’s Frege’s Conception of Logic (2012); Robert May’s Frege’s Puzzle, Leibniz’s Problem (forthcoming); and Pieranna Garavaso and Nicla Vassallo’s Frege on Thinking and its Epistemic Significance (2014), the workshop aims to bring together recent studies on the role that Frege’s logic, in its connections with his conception of thought, thinking and conceptual analysis, plays in the development of his overall philosophy.
