(English below – September and October, months full of activities for EC2U) Durante i mesi di settembre e ottobre, l’alleanza EC2U “European Campus of City-Universities” ha partecipato e parteciperà a vari eventi e attività, che vedranno coinvolti i numerosi partner EC2U e l’intera comunità pavese.
Nella giornata del 7 settembre 2022 si è svolto, presso l’Aula ‘400 dell’Università di Pavia, l’evento “EC2U JMD and VIs Celebration day”, una conferenza di presentazione di EC2U con focus sui joint master dall’alleanza e sulle opportunità di mobilità. La presentazione è stata organizzata da Pavia come evento dedicato a professori e staff dell’Ateneo.
Inoltre, la città di Pavia è orgogliosa di aver ospitato, dal 19 al 24 settembre la Summer School “Transgenerational Aging & Gendered Life-Cycle Approach”, un’attività organizzata all’interno del WP4 – “Health and WellBeing” realizzata assieme a STEP ESN Pavia e all’associazione sportiva CUS e ospitata a Palazzo Vistarino dalla fondazione Alma Mater Ticinensis. La Summer School ha visto la partecipazione di 60 persone, tra studenti e professori provenienti dalle università dell’Alleanza EC2U.
EC2U è stato presente alla UNIPV Welcome Week: il 21 settembre è stata presentata l’app My Mobile Tutor di EC2U (WP2) ed è stato allestito un desk informativo EC2U presso il Cortile dei Tassi.
Ha inoltre avuto luogo la 2° edizione della Science Battle EC2U, dalle ore 15:00 alle ore 18:00, evento che si è svolto all’interno della Notte Europea dei Ricercatori 2022.
Pavia parteciperà anche alla candidatura per la Call Erasmus “European Degree Label”, che ha l’obiettivo di consentire ad alleanze Europee di facilitare la consegna di titoli di studio europei congiunti. L’Università di Pavia parteciperà a nome di EC2U, in un consorzio che coinvolge inoltre: UNAEUROPA, EU-CONEXUS, UNITE!, CHARM-EU e EC2U. Nel complesso, saranno coinvolti altri 49 Atenei Europei di differenti paesi, tra cui i nostri 4 Atenei Italiani di Bologna, Milano, Pavia e Torino.
Il progetto sarà presentato all’inizio di ottobre.
Infine, a brevissimo, avranno luogo due importanti eventi nella città di Iași: il primo, è la 2° edizione dell’ Entrepreneurial Week, relativa alle attività del WP7 – Science with and for society e alla quale parteciperanno 4 studenti UNIPV. Il secondo evento è invece il 5° Forum EC2U, che si terrà dall’11 al 13 ottobre.

September and October, months full of activities for EC2U
During September and October, the “European Campus of City-Universities” (EC2U) Alliance is taking part in several events and activities, which will involve the many EC2U partners and the whole community of Pavia.
On the 7th of September, at the Aula ‘400 of the University of Pavia, the “EC2U JMD and VIs Celebration day” took place. This event followed a presentation conference regarding the joint masters offered by the EC2U alliance. Pavia organized this presentation as designed for the University professors and staff.
Moreover, the city of Pavia is proud to have hosted, from the 19th to the 24th of September, the Summer School “Transgenerational Aging & Gendered Life-Cycle Approach”, a WP4 – Health and WellBeing activity realized in collaboration with the STEP ESN Pavia organization and the sports association CUS and hosted at Palazzo Vistarino by Alma Mater Ticinensis foundation. The Summer School was attended by 60 people among students and professors from the universities of the EC2U Alliance.
EC2U attended the UNIPV Welcome Week: on the 21st of September, the EC2U (WP2) My Mobile Tutor app was launched and an EC2U information desk was set up at the Cortile dei Tassi.
On the 30th of September, the 2nd edition of the EC2U Science Battle also took place, from 3 to 6 p.m., an event that was held within the 2022 European Researchers’ Night.
Pavia will also participate in the application process for the “European Degree Label” call, which aims to enable European alliances to facilitate the delivery of joint European degrees. The University of Pavia will participate on behalf of EC2U, in a consortium that also involves: UNAEUROPA, EU-CONEXUS, UNITE!, CHARM-EU and EC2U. Overall, 49 other European Universities from different countries will be involved, including our 4 Italian Universities of Bologna, Milan, Pavia, and Turin.
The project will be launched in early October.
Finally, two important events will take place very soon in the city of Iași: the first one is the 2nd edition of the Entrepreneurial Week, regarding the WP7 – Science with and for society activities and to be attended by 4 UNIPV students. The second event is the 5th EC2U Forum, which will be held between the 11th and the 13th of October.
